Zsnes Update - jandar

WinUAE Updated - jandar
Version 0.8.6 Release 5 of WinUAE, an Amiga emulator for Windows, has been released. You can find the latest version on the Amiga Emulators page.

Another(!) z26 Update - jandar
After about 24 hours, version 1.18 of z26 has been released. z26 is an Atari 2600 emulator for DOS. You can download the latest version from the Atari 2600 Emulators page. The only change is a small bug that was fixed from version 1.17 that caused some games to run to quickly.

ColEm-DOS Release - jandar
Version 1.0a of ColEm-DOS has been released. ColEm is a Colecovision emulator for a variety of OS's. Firebug is doing the DOS port. You can find the latest release on the Colecovision Emulator page. Here's what's new:
- Stupid joystick initialization bug fixed (should fix slowdown on some systems)
Spanish Translation Update - jandar
Paladin Translations has released a new English to Spanish patch for Final Fantasy I, the patch can be downloaded from the Spanish Translations page.
Oddysey 2 Emulator Added - jandar
There is only one Oddysey 2 emulator that I know of, and I have added it to the site. You can find it on the Oddysey 2 Emulator page.
Raine Emulator Added - jandar
In response to a newly released version 0.16a, I added Raine, an arcade emulator, to the site. Just added, is the Raine Page.

New Release of Zsnes! - jandar
Version 0.700 of Zsnes, the best SNES emulator for DOS, has been released. There is a lot of improvement in this latest version, including partial DSP1 support, and support for modem to modem netplay. For a full list of improvements, view this text file that lists them all. You can download this wonderful emulator on the SNES Emulators page.
CoolNESs Release - jandar
Version 0.71 of CoolNESs has been released. CoolNESs is an NES emulator for the AmigaOS. You can find the latest version on the NES Emulators page. This is a very small update. Here's what's new in this release:

SNEmul 0.85b Released - jandar
Yet another release of SNEmul. I'm not really sure what is new here, but you can find it on the SNES Emulators page.

New Snemul Released - jandar
Another major SNES emulator has been updated today. This release is not very large, but expect another, larger, release in the coming days. Grab this emulator from the SNES Emulators page. Here's what's new in the latest version:
- fixed a bug in the SRAM saving
- option to enable/disable speed hacks(options menu)
- option to disable SNES BG windows(emulation menu)
- a new ROM editor.. useless for the moment.
New Snes9x DOS Released - jandar
This day has been insane for updates. It's kept me running all day long. Now for a new release fo Snes9x DOS. You can find it on the SNES Emulators page. Also, Cyber Warrior X has taken over the DOS port of the emulator. Here's what's new in this release:
- A new SPC Dumper has been implemented. (use F1 to activate)
- Pretty much Complete Config file support(special thanks to Kreed for the inspiration). Joystick Mappings, and a few other things need to be added later.
- NetPlay has been disabled for this release since it crashes under all systems using Scitech Display Doctor.
- Diagonal Keys on number pad can now be used(makes games like Street Fighter easier to use).
- Changed Grip Mapping, should be as close to a real Snes pad as possible.
- Added a Fast-forward key. (it's like what the tilde key does in Zsnes) Use F2 to activate, and F3 to put the speed back to normal.
- Disabled Quick-freeze due to a planned rewrite of it, as well as a remap of it.
WinUAE Updated - jandar
Version 0.8.6r4 or WinUAE has been released, and you can find the latest version on the Amiga Emulators page. There is too much new stuff to list here, so if you really want to know you'll have to read the docs included with the emulator. But it is certainly worth downloading the new version if you are a user of WinUAE.
German Translations Update - jandar
Apparently I missed several updates of various German translations from G-Trans. You can now find the latest patches from G-Trans on the German Translations page. These include translations of Final Fantasy I, Super Mario 3, Dragon Warrior I, and quite a bit more from English to German.

More on MasterGear - jandar
Versions of MasterGear have been released for SunOS, Linux, and OSF/1. Also, the version of Solaris has been updated to version 1.2. You can get these emulators on the SMS/GG Emulators page.
iNES Released for SunOS - jandar
A version of iNES, and NES emulator for a variety of platforms, for SunOS has been released. You can pick up the latest verion (0.7) from the NES Emulators page.
ColEm-DOS Version 1.0 Released - jandar
After quite some time, a new version of ColEm for DOS has come. You can pick up the latest version on the Colecovision Emulators page.
Snes9x Releases for Solaris and SunOS - jandar
You can find version 1.11d of Snes9x for both Solaris and SunOS now on the SNES Emulators page. These have the same changes as the Linux version. This includes Mario Kart playability.
