Download It Version 2.0 Documentation OpenSPC OpenSPC is a player for SPC files, but it is also a utility to convert SPC files to .IT files that can be played with MODPlug. The source is also available. Download It Version 0.100 source Documentation SMC File Checker This utility is a file checker and format type converter for SNES roms. It will compare checksums for your SNES roms. Download It Version 0.n Documentation SnesTool I use this mostly for patching roms with translation patches, and creating ips patches; however, SnesTool can also edit headers, and split and join roms, along with other functions that I myself have never used. Download It Version 1.2 Documentation Snessor This is fun. Snessor lets you rip sounds from SNES roms. The classic example is taking Ryu's fireball yell from the Street Fighter 2 rom. This is a lot of fun, also has a Windows 95 port listed below. Download It Version 2.1 Documentation Snessor95 This is the Windows 95 port of Snessor listed above. It's not quite as good as Snessor for DOS, but it is still a fun utility. You can browse through the rom and pull out any sound you want.
