I've updated the swedish translations archive... new, finished translations are Final Fantasy 5, Adventures of Lolo 1-2, Tetris and Bucky O'Hare (US-version) and updated patches are Final Fantasy 1, Hello Kitty World and Sanrio Carnival 2... Oh, and a un-finished patch for Pokémon Silver has been released...
13:19 - Disaster Relief Fund - Jandar
The Red Cross has what is known as their Disaster Relief Fund, and Amazon.com, the online bookstore, is providing a donation form for this fund. You can also make a donation on the Red Cross site but what I tried this morning the site was so swamped with visitors that I was unable to get through. I would invite anybody and everybody who uses Amazon (or even those who do not) to make a donation to the Disaster Relief Fund through Amazon.com. So far they have collected a total of $2,730,862.00 through 80500 donations. Yes, you read right, that is nearly 3 million dollars. This number is current as of 1:21 PM EST, but each time I reload the page the number increases yet again by several hundred dollars. They except donations as small as $1 and up to $100 dollars. No matter how little you afford to give...please give something.
9:14 - It was a bloody Tuesday. - Jandar
Yesterday was certainly the most tramatic and horrifying day that I have thus far lived to see. I havn't been around long enough to remember WWII, I havn't even been around long enough to remember Vietnam. I can't really draw comparisons because I have nothing to draw them to. I do know that they came into my home, and they killed thousands of my brothers and my sisters. I do know that after yesterday my world has been irreversably altered. I know my view will never be the same. I cannot really comment on the day, I cannot really comment on anything that happened, because the true meaning of yesterdays actions has not yet hit me. I can't quite see it yet, it has yet to sink in. There is so much to be said, and so much that I myself wish to say, but don't yet have the words...The image that has temporarily replaced the main page is an American flag flying at half mast.
2:10 - Clock Tower minor update - SirYoink
Version 1.01 of Clock Tower has been released. Get it at AGTP. Its 2am and I'm too lazy to retype, so here's a little cut'n paste from Gideon Zhi: "The Clock Tower patch has been updated to version 1.01. This release fixes but a few cosmetic things; a space was added between two words in the opening (which most people, using zsnes, missed) and the description of the kitchen calendar was changed a little to make it sound a little better. The big news is that the main menu was fixed! No more zeros instead of Os, and the arrow next to the Stereo/Mono selection is back!"
Also, if you're like me and have trouble with lockups in zsnes, try opening the zsnes config file and setting percent to execute to 110.
1:05 - AGTP Releases two patches, project updates - SirYoink
The first new patch is a complete translation for Clock Tower, a SNES horror/adventure game. The second is an update to Sylvan Tale, a Game Gear game. The update changes two lines of text. Get them from our english archive or from the AGTP. The AGTP homepage, which now features an easier-to-navigate layout, also contains an essay by Gideon Zhi entitled "What I did on My Summer Vacation", which gives a progress report on his current projects.
16:49 - Suicidal Translations Returns! - SirYoink
Suicidal Translations has reopened and released three new NES translations and an update. Tabo's Tactics is now 100% complete. The new releases are: Motocross Champion, Forbidden City, and Princesstual Orgy. (Why did Inverse change the name of that one?) Get them at the ST website, or download them from our English translations archive. This news was stolen from rpgd, who in turn stole it from the Whirlpool, who traded many Donuts to the mafia for it.
23:48 - Generator Release - Jandar
Version 0.33 of Generator, a Sega Genesis emulator for Linux and DOS, has been released. The latest version of the emulator can currently be found best on the Generator homepage. I'll hopefully get this up in our emulator archive shortly.

Version 0.24 of VirtuaNES, an NES emulator for Windows, is available now in both Japanese and English. The latest version is available from the VirtuaNES homepage.
